The Twelve Spirits (a work in progress. . . . )
Spirit 1
I seek to know and realize this truth: "I am a creative center of Infinite Spirit, inseparable from the All of Life." As such, no outer condition can determine who I am or how I live―unless I afford it the power to do so.
Spirit 2
The conscious directing of my own awareness, and my openness to the All of Life (as it is appearing, right here and now), is the means by which I can realize my true wholeness and worth.
Spirit 3
I intend to accept myself (just as I am) and hold the knowing awareness that there is nothing wrong with me (and nothing that needs to be fixed).
Spirit 4
I resolve to be more conscious of my beliefs, concepts, assumptions, and defense-strategies; and to know that these mental creations curtail my life, keep me bound (to this false idea I have of myself), and hold me in separation from the all of Life.
Spirit 5
I dare to embrace (and revel in) the joyous paradox wherein I exist as Infinite Spirit and this limited human being.
Spirit 6
I accept my role as a true co-creator with Spirit—never expecting Spirit to do for me what it can only do through me. (Thus, I take full responsibility for my own growth and transformation.)
Spirit 7
I resolve to have a healthy, conscious, and true relationship with my body--honoring my body as the temple of my existence, the font of wisdom, and my most precious support in this life.
Spirit 8
I resolve to have all my relationships be beneficial and supportive of my highest intention; to have no relationship keep me bound to the past through anger, guilt, blame or regret. Thus, I will take steps to release myself of these negative emotions (and boundedness to the past) through the forgiving of others and myself.
Spirit 9
I am determined to put my house in order―to live with purpose, to build meaningful relationships, and to be financially stable.
Spirit 10
I resolve to live in joyous mutuality; to wholeheartedly give and receive support from others.
Spirit 11
I resolve to be more present in life, more conscious of my unchanging nature, and more open to the seamless expression of the Benevolent Divine (in and as me).
Spirit 12
Having realized my inseparable unity with the all of Life, the preciousness of my human existence, and the wonder of my own heart, I joyously give myself in the service of others and to the sanctity of all.
